mousesports eliminated Luminosity after beating the Brazilians 2-0 at the ECS Season 4 Finals (16-9 on Train and 16-3 on Nuke). The best-of-three Group A elimination match between Luminosity and MOUZ kicked off on Train. The T-sided European team won the pistol round but couldn't follow it up with the anti-eco win (1-1). Luminosity won two anti-eco rounds and the first weapon round to lead 4-1. A 3vs5 post-plant win by the Brazilians made it 7-2 but MOUZ turned it on to win five rounds in a row. However, Chris "chrisJ" de Jong's couldn't end the half ahead as Luminosity won another 3vs5, this time in the fifteenth round, and led 8-7 at halftime. MOUZ started the second half with three round wins to lead 10-8 but Gabriel "NEKIZ" Schenato clutched a 1vs3 to spoil the party for the European team (10-9). However, MOUZ were unfazed and won six rounds in a row to win the first half 16-9. Nuke was the second map of the series with MOUZ starting on the T-side. The Europeans were superior from the beginning and finished the first half 13-2 ahead. MOUZ finished it off in the second half despite losing the pistol round, winning the map 16-3 and the series 2-0. They will face OpTic in the Group A decider match for a spot in the playoffs.
